I would highly appreciate a review of my forum guys. I have really been working extremely hard on getting all my adsense placements on the correct spots, as per recommendations from this site. And I have really seen a drastic increase in my earnings too.
Please tell me where I can improve!
Thank you so much!
Kind regards,
Pierre

Hi
Sorry for the long delay, I had some paying clients which had higher priority.
The overall website:
I personally don't really like dark websites.
I had a large hiphop community once and we went with a dark layout.
We regretted it for 4 years that we have chosen the "dark side"
Light websites tend to look much more professional then dark websites in general.
And it is much easier to stay and read on light sites then it is on dark sites.
But that is just my opinion.
Ad Placement:
Try moving the welcome box above your icon navigation to get it more into the above the fold area. That should increase your CTR a little bit more.
Your in post rectangle should go to the left, depending on the screen size a centered rectangle does not follow the text flow and with that is more outside the users attention.
I don't know how you calculate the location of your in post rectangle inside the first post but you should put it much more at the beginning of each post rather then half way down. But that would be something that would need some testing (50:50 split).
Also the rectangle in your last post on each page should go to the left.
I have a 26" screen with a HD resolution and your last ad is so out of my viewing focus I first totally missed it. Should at least double your CTR for that spot.
Your posting permission box below each thread is very large, use it for a 200x90 link unit.
Example: ((login for URL))
(it was inside the posting permissions before I decided to remove this info block. Now they are displayed where once was the posting permission box.)
It is an odd place for Ads but they perform better then you would believe.
Hope this helps.

You are welcome.
I did not release that mod. But just find the template and put the AdSense code in it.
It wasn't that hard
